Meddlesome Brewing Company and Memphis Record Pressing teamed up to create a beer that’s not only exceptional but also gives back to the community that inspires it.
By drinking Analog Groove, you’re directly supporting local music charities. For every barrel brewed, Meddlesome Brewing Company will donate $2.50. Ajax Distributing Company contributes will also be donating another $1.00 for every barrel sold from May-August. Together, those contributions help fund organizations that keep Memphis music culture thriving.
Throughout the year, the charity partner for Analog Groove will rotate among different local music organizations, helping support a wide range of groups that keep Memphis’ musical heritage alive. Be sure to scan the QR code on the can to see which organization we’re currently partnering with and learn more about the work they’re doing in the community.
One of the organizations benefiting from this partnership is the Memphis Blues Society.
The Memphis Blues Society is an all-volunteer, nonprofit arts organization dedicated to preserving and promoting blues music by presenting events to the Memphis community and supporting blues artists.
Since 2005, the Memphis Blues Society has worked to preserve blues culture by organizing and encouraging live performances from musicians throughout Memphis and the Mid-South. In recent years, the organization has expanded its efforts to raise public awareness of the blues by increasing the number of venues featuring local artists and by sharing educational content through social media, newsletters, and community outreach.
The Society plays a vital role in promoting and preserving the blues, a uniquely influential African-American art form deeply rooted in Memphis and the surrounding region.
The Memphis Blues Society is dedicated to providing people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to study, appreciate, and celebrate the music and culture that gave birth to the blues.
Memphis and the Mid-South hold a special place in the history of this genre. Musicians from the region have served as ambassadors of the blues around the world. Through its programs and events, the Memphis Blues Society works to ensure these artists receive the recognition they deserve at home.
By supporting musicians from the Mid-South—including artists from Memphis, Jackson, Helena, Oxford, Clarksdale, and Jonesboro—the Society strengthens the cultural fabric of the region while helping keep the blues alive for future generations.
